My advice to incoming students is...
Don't be afraid to reach out to people and your professors—they're there to help and support you. Take advantage of all the resources available, study something you're genuinely passionate about, make new friends, and enjoy your college experience. It goes by faster than you think, so make the most of every opportunity.
I chose Youngstown State because...
YSU is an affordable university with so much to offer. They have all the resources students need, plenty of opportunities to get involved, and a great nursing program. For what we pay, I feel like we get a lot of value from the experience!
My favorite college memory is...
My favorite college memory is my first day living in campus housing and meeting my roommate. It was a completely new experience, and getting to know someone new while adjusting to college life made it both exciting and fun.
